Amara Golf & Social Club
Amara Golf & Social Club is an exclusive new private golf and social club located within The Ridges, one of Summerlin’s most prestigious guard-gated luxury communities. Formerly home to Bear’s Best Las Vegas, the Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course that opened in 2001, the property closed to public play in June 2025 to undergo a remarkable $300 million transformation into a world-class private golf and lifestyle destination.
Spanning more than 200 acres, Amara will feature a completely redesigned 18-hole championship golf course by Jackson Kahn Design, along with a six-hole par-3 course and indoor golf simulators. The new course is being designed to complement the natural desert landscape, with scenic views of the surrounding Spring Mountains and Las Vegas Valley.
At the heart of Amara will be an elegant two-story private clubhouse featuring fine dining, a wine lounge, state-of-the-art fitness center, spa, and beautifully designed social gathering spaces. Outdoor amenities are planned to include a resort-style swimming pool with private cabanas, four pickleball courts, volleyball, an expansive event lawn, and additional recreational facilities.
Amara will also introduce an exclusive collection of 15 luxury residential villas, offering an exceptional opportunity to enjoy private club living within The Ridges. These boutique residences are anticipated to be completed by late 2027.
Designed to offer an intimate and highly personalized club experience, Amara Golf & Social Club will feature a limited membership program, with approximately 250 memberships and an additional 15 reserved for villa owners. Membership will be separate from homeownership in The Ridges.
With its championship golf course, luxurious clubhouse, resort-style amenities, and exclusive residential villas, Amara Golf & Social Club represents an exciting new chapter for golf and luxury living in Summerlin. The club is currently undergoing redevelopment, with its official opening date yet to be announced.
