Las Vegas Boulevard Drive Thru during the Shutdown.The Las Vegas Strip remains largely an empty space from one end to the other. Doors are locked. Traffic is minimal. A few pedestrians and only a handful of vehicles move down Las Vegas Boulevard. We mostly saw a lot of homeless people walking the strip.

All my years living in Las Vegas, I have never seen anything like this. My daughter, Autumn and I take a tour through the entire Las Vegas Blvd., going through the Strip and Downtown. Eventually ending up in Container Park.

This was a crazy site to see, and I will be praying for a fast recovery. The closures of all the casinos has impacted Las Vegas in a major way. Vegas relies heavily on the tourism industry, without tourist, Vegas is not Vegas. All the casino entrances had barricades, and cops sitting on standby.

It was an eerie feeling walking downtown with all the shops bordered up. Felt like I was in a scene from the Walking Dead.
