BALLPARKS IN SUMMERLIN
THE BIRTH OF THE LEAGUE
Little League started in Summerlin, a 22,500-acre master-planned community located along the western rim of the Las Vegas Valley, in 1994 with the formation of the Summerlin Little League.
By 2006, Little League baseball had become such a hit in Summerlin that its burgeoning Little League had to be divided. During the 2006 season, the league was formed into two divisions, Summerlin North and Summerlin South. In Spring 2007, the league was formally divided and the parent league was renamed Summerlin North Little League and the new Summerlin South Little League was born.
SUMMERLIN NORTH LITTLE LEAGUE
Summerlin North Little League offers the following baseball divisions for male and female players with “league ages” 4-16.
If your child attends any of the following schools in SNLL boundaries, he/she can play in SNLL with a school waiver and will be eligible for All Star consideration:

Parks that are a part of the Summerlin North Little League are; The Vistas Park, The Trails Park and Oxford Park.
Vistas Park and Pool – 11311 Alta Drive, 89138
The Vistas Park is Summerlin South Little League’s second home and is the home of their girl’s softball program. It hosts most softball games, some baseball games and tournaments, as well as practices for the 50/70, Majors, AAA, or AA Divisions. It has two regulation Little League fields (lighted for night games and practices and convertible to 50/70), a concession building, and bull pens for each field.
The Vistas Park is a 24-acre park located in the Vistas Village and is part of Summerlin West. This park is home to Summerlin’s first lighted football field, two lighted tennis courts, a lighted full-sized basketball court with 6 hoops, a community swimming pool and center, two children’s play areas, a group picnic pavilions and community restrooms.
The Trails Park and Pool – 9550 Trails Center Drive, 89134
The Trails Park is the home of our interleague partner of Summerlin North Little League and hosts some interleague games and tournaments. It has two regulation Little League fields, one regulation field (60’6″ pitching rubber and 90′ base paths), all lighted for night games and practices. It also has shaded bleachers batting cages, bullpens, and a concession building.
The Trails Park is a nearly 15-acre park located in the Trails Village and is part of Summerlin North. This park also features a swimming pool and center, two children’s play areas, splash pad, meadow area, full-sized basketball court, picnic tables & community restrooms.
Oxford Park – 700 Anasazi Drive, 89144
This park features a 90’ stadium-style baseball field and open play area for residents’ enjoyment.
The Oxford Park hosts games and practices for Summerlin North and South Little League’s Juniors and Seniors Divisions, and operates as an overflow practice field for other divisions. It has one regulation-size baseball field (60′ 6″ pitching rubber and 90′ base paths) and is fully lighted for night games and practices.
SUMMERLIN SOUTH LITTLE LEAGUE
Summerlin South Little League welcomes male and female players with “league ages” 4-16 to participate. In order to play in Summerlin South Little League, you must be a Summerlin resident who lives south of Charleston Boulevard or west of the 215 beltway (in either the 89135 or 89138 zip code).
In addition, any child who attends a school located in the league’s boundaries is eligible to play in the league regardless of where they live. This includes:

- Solomon Schechter Day School
- Faith Lutheran Academy
- Alexander Dawson
- Doral Academy Red Rock
- Faith Lutheran Jr/Sr High School

Mesa Park – 5401 Mesa Park Dr.
The Mesa Park is the home of Summerlin South Little League and hosts most of the league’s baseball games and tournaments, as well as practices for the Majors, AAA, and AA Divisions. It has three regulation Little League fields (all lighted for night games and practices and one with stadium seating), a snack bar, and the league’s batting cages.
The Mesa Park is a 19-acre park located in the Mesa Village and is part of Summerlin South. It features beautiful mountain views with large open play areas, two lighted tennis courts, a lighted full-sized basketball court with 6 hoops, tot lot, playground, BBQ area, covered picnic ramadas and community restrooms.
The Willows Park and Pool – 2775 Desert Marigold Ln.
The Willows Park hosts practices for Summerlin South Little League’s softball divisions teams and younger baseball division teams. It has two softball-style fields with dirt infields and is fully lighted for night practices. The fields have no pitching mounds, fixed bases, or outfield fences.
The Willows Park is a 12.7-acre park located in the Willows Village and is part of Summerlin South. This park features multi-sports facility with 2 lighted softball fields, a lighted full-size basketball court with 3 hoops, a community swimming pool and center, a children’s play structure, as well as a linear park which meanders through the village and includes another children’s play area and trail.
Paseos Park – 12112 Desert Moon Rd.
The Paseos Park hosts practices for Summerlin South Little League’s Tee Ball Majors and Minors Divisions. It has two tee ball fields with all grass infields. The fields have no lights, fixed home plates, pitching mounds, fixed bases, or outfield fences.
The Paseos Park is a 12.5-acre park located in The Paseos Village and is part of Summerlin West. This community park includes a junior soccer/T-ball fields, a lighted full-sized basketball court with 6 hoops, a sand volleyball court, an interactive water play area, playground, a motorized toy area, picnic pavilions and open grass areas.
